Staging Tips – Master Bedroom

It’s commonly debated that the master bedroom is the most crucial area that determines the sales of a home. That is why it is critical to home stage the master bedroom.

So here are some tips on how you can stage up the master bedrooms.

The 2 “D”

Declutter and de-personalise. You may have heard this countless times, but it is the first step to any successful staging. Remove all family photos, keep clothing stored away and out of sight and clear the en-suite bathroom of any personal items, like toothbrushes and contact solutions.

Clean white Sheets

When potential buyers step into the master bedroom, the first thing they see will be the bed. So pay extra attention when making the bed.

Firstly, have the correct sized bed for the room, making sure there is enough space when moving about. Next, we like to use clean white bed linen, lots of pillows and a neutral coloured throw, to create layering.

A well-staged bed will help the room will be inviting and evoke a sense of relaxation.

When it comes to the nightstand, simplicity is key. Lamp, books, plants or candles are some of the things that you can place on your nightstand. However, depending on the size, having 2-3 items on the nightstand will be sufficient.
