For residential long term furniture rental, the delivery and collection charges are waived. For short term rental, the transportation charge (include delivery and collection) will apply. Actual amount is depending on the amount of furniture ordered.
Unfortunately, we do not do event furniture rental or rental for filming purposes.

We do not have a physical showroom. However, we have a comprehensive range of furniture in our online catalogue for your perusal at the comfort of your home.
We understand that wear and tear happens. The furniture pieces are insured by SFR and hirer is not liable for the repair cost of the furniture pieces. All you have to do is to inform us of the damages.
Carton boxes are chargeable at $3/ box + GST. Carton boxes can be sent down prior to home staging for homeowners to start packing. Transportation cost to send carton boxes down will be waived if client confirmed the home staging service with us.
The disposal and storage services will be done on the day of staging itself.
Curtains are not provided as part of the home staging package as it would require a certain amount of customisation. We also do not provide installation of ceiling lights or changing of light bulbs. However, floor/table/study lamps are included as part of the home staging package.
Painting is not included in the home staging package but it is offered as a value-added service.
The amount of storage or disposal items are based on a 14-footer truck. If there are only a few pieces of furniture that you would like to store or dispose, please approach us for a quote.
No, you do not have to pay for the home staging proposal. It is non-obligatory.
Once we receive pictures, videos or the online property listing of your unit, we will make an assessment from there and do up a proposal. There will be recommendations on items to store/ dispose or reuse. The proposal will also include the cost breakdown and the inventory list. Once we send you the proposal, you may want to go through with owner the list of items they intend to store and the list of items they intend to dispose. Once we have both lists, we will be able to arrange the necessary logistics needed.
Start from the entrance of the unit and do a slow walk-through of the unit. Preferably, span the area from every corner of the room. There are no hard and fast rules, the objective is for us to get a good gauge of the space and the condition of the furniture pieces if any!
Yes, pictures, videos or online listings are usually sufficient for us to make an assessment of the unit, as long as we get a good idea of the space.
Usually, we do not do site visits for mass market home staging. Pictures/ videos/ online property listings are typically sufficient for us to make an assessment of your unit.
Yes, we do stage owner-occupied units. Once we receive pictures, videos or online property listings, we will be able to do up a non-obligatory proposal after making the assessment.
Unfortunately, we would not be able to do the decluttering or packing for your customer as there are many personal items involved. However, we can send down carton boxes and our packing kit to start packing prior to home staging. Carton boxes are $3 + GST/ box, transportation cost waived.
Send us pictures or videos or online listings to our whatsapp @ +65 9789 8827 and we will be able to send you a non-obligatory proposal with pictures included. The furniture proposed in the proposal will be similar to the ones that we will be using for staging of your property.
Home staging will take 2-3 hours on average. The duration is also dependent on other factors such as whether you will be home staging the entire unit or taking on the basic package. For those that engage us for the value-added services such as disposal or storage, it may also take longer. Disposal and storage services will be done on the same day of staging, before home staging commences.
The furniture pieces are based on stock availability. We have also managed to gather our past experiences and feedback from customers to know what works for your unit.

Long Term Rental
If there are no outstanding matters, the rental deposit will be refunded back to the hirer after the collection of all items.
In the event that there are any outstanding payments or damage/loss of items, the costs will be deducted from the rental deposit.
If it is an early termination (before the full lease period is fulfilled), please give us a 2 months notice as stated in the lease agreement via email to info@SingaporeFurnitureRental.com
If the full rental period is fulfilled or will be fulfilled, please give us at least 5 days notice to arrange for collection.
Please provide us with your preferred collection date and time. Our production team will do our best to make the arrangement.
We accept the following payment modes:
Credit Card via Paypal
We encourage hirer to establish a bank standing order to make timely monthly payment to prevent late payment.
Monthly rental invoice will be billed 1 month in advance. A physical copy of the invoice will be mailed out to the hirer’s billing address.
Basic maintenance and cleanliness of the furniture should be done by the user. SFR will be responsible for maintenance of the furniture for manufacture defects.
If any of the furniture or appliances breaks down during the lease period due to normal wear and tear or manufacturer fault, contact us at +65 9789 8827 and we will arrange for our production team to fix it for you. In the event where the damage cannot be fixed, SFR will provide a replacement piece which may not be a brand new item.
If the break down is due to user fault, the hirer is required to inform SFR immediately. The user or hirer will have to borne the cost of the damaged item. SFR will provide a replacement piece which may not be a brand new item.
Personal lease is a lease agreement between SFR and the user (tenant) of the rented furniture.
The hirer is required to fill up a personal lease application form and provide SFR with relevant documents (copy of passport, employment pass, letter of appointment from employer with annual income stated and tenancy agreement). SFR management will assess and approve the lease accordingly.
Company lease is a lease agreement between SFR and the employer of the user (tenant) of the rented furniture. The Company is renting the furniture for the employee to use during the lease period.
To rent the furniture under the company lease, please provide the HR contact person and contact details for confirmation and billing purposes.
SFR will prepare the lease agreement to be signed by the Company.
Landlord lease is a lease agreement between SFR and the owner of the housing unit. The landlord may be renting the furniture for the tenant to use during the lease period.
To rent the furniture under landlord lease, please provide the landlord contact details (including overseas if landlord is not in Singapore) for confirmation and billing purposes.
In the event that the hirer needs to terminate the lease agreement before expiry, the hirer can terminate as long as they fulfill the diplomatic clause period with 2 months’ notice.
Example: The lease agreement is a 2 years lease with diplomatic clause of 12+2 months. Should the hirer choose to terminate the lease agreement on the 12th month, the hirer will need to give a 2 month notice to fulfill the minimum of 14 months lease.
The lease period for furniture rental will usually be the same as the lease period of the housing unit you are renting. In Singapore, the standard lease periods are 1 year lease or 2 years lease.
For expatriates, the lease period includes a diplomatic clause. In Singapore, the standard lease periods are 1 year lease with 6+2 months diplomatic clause and 2 years lease with 12+2 months diplomatic clause.
We also offer short term furniture rental services for lease period between 1 month to 6 months. Short term rentals can be done at a month-by-month rolling basis, hence the lease period is much more flexible.
Short Term Rental
The furniture and appliances are ex-rental (not new) but in good condition. There may be some furniture which is brand new due to hygiene purposes.
SFR charges a minimum period of 1 month. You may rent for less than a month but a 1st full month will be charged.
Should you rent for more than the 1st month, subsequent rental charge will be pro-rated on a day to day basis.
We will send you a YouTube link preview of the edited video 5 working days after the day of video shoot. Upon full payment of the video, we will then send you the High Definition video file in mp4 format through weTransfer.
For Property Walkthrough with Agent, we will include 3-5 nearby amenities shots within 1km of the unit.
Amenities shots are not included in Client Testimonial and Property Walkthrough w/o Agent.
If you have engaged us for Home Staging for the unit, you will receive complimentary Before & After Staging photos of the unit. However, home staging footage will not be included in the video.
We do produce Home Staging branding videos separately. Do submit an enquiry to us to find out more about this type of video.
The length of the respective videos we produce are as below:
Property Walkthrough without Agent – 1 min to 1.5 min
Property Walkthrough with Agent – 1 min to 2.5 min
Client Testimonial – 1 min to 2.5 min
Creative Branding – 1 min to 4 min
Generally for all our videos, we tend to keep it under 2.5 min so as to optimise it for your social media marketing use.
We have a creative video category which incorporates a creative element to the standard Property Walkthrough with Agent videos. Do submit an enquiry form to us and we will get in touch with you to discuss more on what we can do for you.
Our video team does extensive shoot planning before the day of shoot and the background music chosen in videos are planned in line with the style of the video we are producing. If you have a specific music style or specific video style that you prefer, do highlight to us during the scripting phase. We won’t be able to make major changes to the video, such as changing the music, after the shoot.
We can write a script for you at additional charge of $100 + GST. We would need you to also provide us with 3-5 unique selling points of the unit that we can include in the script.
Our video team can create another version of the video better suited for social media at an additional charge of $100 + GST. It is a part of our Add-On video services.
Graphics & sound effects can be included at additional charges which can vary from video to video as every video can have a unique style. Do submit an enquiry to us before we can better advise on the quote.

Every additional hour is chargeable at $150 + GST per hour added
