2. Hang a statement painting
Sometimes, choosing simple decoration can be the best way to go. What tone do you want to set for your room? Calm and easy-going or loud and bold? Add a focal point to your room with a suitable statement painting that resonates with the tone you want. Whenever your guests enter your room, the painting will automatically draw your guests’ attention and automatically give the impression you want to present to them.
3. Put out your statement
What is your favourite motivational quote? Find a nice decal online or design one yourself and splash it across your wall. Now, every time you walk by your ‘canvas’ you will be duly reminded by Steve Jobs that there is no one more special than you.
4. Hang a mirror
Mirrors are especially useful in small spaces or bedrooms as they can give the impression of a larger area. A mirror facing a dining table can make the dining table look longer than it actually is and presents more space in a household. Placing large mirrors in small rooms can bring depth and make your room look much more spacious.
