Of the many towns in Singapore, Yishun may be one that is tucked away in the corner of the island and less often frequented. However, with its many amenities & development coming into fruition in recent years, there may be plenty to look out for in this northern town!

Yishun is never short of places that provides you with your entertainment and lifestyle needs. There is a variety of amenities here like NorthPoint City, KTPH, Safra Yishun, and ORTO.

NorthPoint City also happens to be the largest integrated development in the North and it houses the recently opened Yishun bus interchange as well.

Meanwhile, ORTO is a recreation hub that provides you with activities such as prawning, fishing, entry into the trampoline park and there are also many restaurant to choose from, for you and you family to have a great bonding time together.

An upcoming plan for the residents here to look out for is the HomeTeamNS Khatib Club House. 500 turtle and terrapins have found their home at the new Live Turtle and Tortoise Museum which was relocated to Yishun after living for 18 years in Chinese Garden. They now reside in ORTO.

The top primary school in Yishun would be Chongfu School and it is the number 8th most popular primary school in Singapore as of 2018.

[Future Development]

The new North-south Corridor expressway connects the people in Yishun to the city area, an upcoming project due in 2026.

The new expressway is also Singapore’s first integrated transport corridor featuring continuous bus lanes and cycling trunk routes. Cyclists can look forward to cycling through the Park Connector Networks which leads to the city centre.
