Staging Tips: Bathroom

We have seen many clients pay more attention to staging the main living area of the home, like the kitchen, dining and living. However, the area that is frequently missed will have to be the bathroom. Changes to the bathroom mostly result in an extensive renovation work, which might turn off buyers.

So here are some tips on how you can bring out the full potential of the bathroom through staging.

Clean

Nothing makes home viewers run faster than a dirty and dingy bathroom. So the first thing you have to do will be to clean up the bathroom of any stains on the walls tiles and mirror.

Remove personal items

The bathroom is a personal space, and it can be off-putting to buyers to see any signs of someone using it. Therefore remove all dirty laundry and hiding all personal toiletries such as perfume, toothbrushes and hair wax. You should also keep your towels hidden and display clean white towels during viewing.

Adding inviting touch

Finally add some finishing touches to elevate your bathroom, making it spa-like. Have some pretty flower or plant, nicely packaged soaps and scented candles or diffuser to freshen up the bathroom. You can roll up some hand towels and place it in a basket on the countertop or over the tub for an elegant touch.
