This Agreement is made effective on DATE OF COMMENCEMENT, between Singapore Furniture Rental Pte Ltd of 11 Yishun Industrial Street 1, #05-106, North Spring Bizhub, Singapore 768089 (hereafter called “SFR”, owner of the said goods), and HIRER NAME of BILLING ADDRESS (hereafter called “the Hirer”, hirer of the said goods).
WHEREBY it is agreed as follows:
- SFR shall supply and the Hirer shall receive the said goods set forth in Appendix “A” from DATE OF COMMENCEMENT for a period of 1 month at a hiring charge of Singapore Dollars MONTHLY RENTAL per month (“the Rental”), inclusive of GST, excluding Singapore Dollars $150.00 transportation charges.
- SFR shall deliver the said goods at the request of the Hirer to OCCUPIER’S NAME at DELIVERY ADDRESS (hereinafter called “the Premises”).
Payment & Extension
- The hiring charge of Singapore Dollars MONTHLY RENTAL per month and transportation charges of Singapore Dollars TRANSPORTATION CHARGES shall be made at least 3 working days before DATE OF COMMENCEMENT.
- SFR reserved the rights to postpone the delivery if the payment is not made at least 3 working days before DATE OF COMMENCEMENT.
- This agreement will automatically be extended if notice of termination is not received from the Hirer 1 week before the EXPIRY DATE.
- Extension of agreement will be charged to the Hirer on a day to day pro-rated basis.
- In the event that the Rental referred in clause 1 above or any part thereof remains unpaid by the Hirer one month after becoming payable, interest shall be charged and payable by the Hirer, on the unpaid rental retrospectively from the first day such rental become due, calculated from day to day at the rate of 1% per month.
- In the event that the Rental or any part thereof shall at any time be in arrears and unpaid by the Hirer, SFR retains the right to terminate the agreement and repossess the said goods. The Hirer hereby irrevocably authorises and/or consents SFR entering any premises where the said goods are located for the purpose of repossessing the said goods.
Hirer’s Responsibilities
- The Hirer undertakes to keep all the said goods in the order and condition in which they were accepted and to return them to SFR in good order and condition, save for reasonable wear and tear. The Hirer shall notify SFR as soon as possible of any damages to the said goods.
- The Hirer is not liable to pay for the repair costs of the said goods if they are damaged. The said goods are insured by SFR.
- The Hirer shall not make any alterations or changes to the said goods without prior written consent from SFR. SFR or SFR’s agent may enter the premises at all reasonable times after prior appointment with the Hirer for the purposes of inspecting and examining the state and condition of the said goods and to execute repairs for which SFR is liable.
- During the rental period, the Hirer is solely responsible for the rented goods which must remain at the original delivery address and may not be moved to another location without the prior written consent of SFR.
Indemnity
- SFR shall have no liability for any direct, indirect or consequential damages or losses of revenue or profits arising under or relating to this Agreement.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF the parties acknowledge understanding of the entire lease agreement and have hereunder affixed their signatures in the presence of witnesses.
